The Treadmill Desk

We have to admit, we snickered a little bit when we first heard about the "treadmill desk" a couple of years ago.  But after seeing a couple close up and trying one out, they are actually pretty effective!  The push for treadmill desks comes from the belief that sitting in a chair all day is the cause for weight gain.  Makes sense, but can walking for eight hours at 1 mph really help with weight loss?  The answer is yes!  Many Americans report that the number one reason that the don't workout is that they don't have enough time.  Our caveman ancestors didn't have a gym, but they fit exercise into their everyday lifestyles by simply being active.

The treadmills are shockingly easy to use while working and over the course of an eight hour work day, provide a great workout.
